Returns & Refunds

Overview

Orders may be eligible for refunds up to 30 days from date of shipment. If greater than 30 days have passed since the order shipped, the order is no longer eligible to be exchanged and/or refunded.  To be eligible for a return, the item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that it was received. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete the return, proof of purchase is required.

Restocking Fee

All returns are subject a 20% restocking fee.  This fee will be deducted from the final refund.

Ineligible Items

Several items are exempt from being exchanged / returned. There will be no refunds offered for ineligible items. These include but are not limited to:

  • Machine Manuals
  • Birth Certificates
  • Sale/Clearance Items
  • Custom Parts
  • Made-to-Order Parts

Exchanges

Defective or damaged items will be replaced at the discretion of Straitoplane Machine. To arrange for an exchange, email sales@straitoplane.com or call 616-997-2211 and send the damaged item to Straitoplane Machine, 201 Boak Avenue, Hughesville, PA 17737.

Shipping Returns

To return an eligible product, ship the item to Straitoplane Machine, 201 Boak Avenue, Hughesville, PA 17737.  Shipping costs are non-refundable and the customer is responsible to cover any return shipping fees. If a refund is due, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund. If the item(s) being returned is a high-dollar item, it is recommended that a trackable shipping service is selected or that shipping insurance is purchased. Straitoplane Machine does not guarantee receipt of the returned item. Once the return is received and inspected, an email notification will be sent along with the determination of approval or rejection of the refund.  If approved, the refund will be processed within 5 business days.
